about
two tracks old enough to walk, blessed to be brought out of the vault by the beautiful voice of rachael lawson, with her amazing flute solo.
i originally released breakfast under evan neptune, tried it with anoumenon, and all times it never hit. rachael liked it enough to lay vocals and flute down some months ago, and it was such a joy to mix her with the new jungle feel of breakfast. i felt "kingdom" filled the gaps in which no project before could fill, and was stunned by the results, enough to continue with the trippy back and forth of the two songs.
lyrics
rachael:
did you hear me sleep talking?
this could be something,
this could be something,
we had breakfast, it wasn't that serious
just a bowl of cheerios
just incase you wanted to know
i like waffles and avocado toast
this could be something
this could be something
or was it just...
swb:
no time for no long lines,
id love it but im too shy,
no trust if we don't try, it's no problem watch me
lying there in my own mind
thought id grown but i am still blind
so nice till they subside
its no problem solving
feel the quake you shake i break
that's my mistake
it's a flame i've saved for the very same thing
that keeps me awake but without a face
the hell i became
